Title:  The Tales of Beedle the Bard

Author:  J.K Rowling

Genre:  Fantasy

Audience:  9+

Main characters:  Professor Dumbledore

The Tales of Beedle The Bard is a great book with laughs, horrors and insights from Professor Albus Dumbledore – the former headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Relive the fairy tales young wizards and witches have been told over the generations, they aren’t quite the type of fairy tales us Muggles read to young children! If you loved J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter books then you will love The Tales of Beedle The Bard! I highly recommend this book for anyone aged 9 upwards.

The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Warlock’s Hairy Heart, Babbitty Rabbitty and The Cackling Stump and, of course, The Tale Of The Three Brothers retold by Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Overall opinion: J.K Rowling has really outdone herself this time, not letting us down after the international bestseller series Harry Potter with this marvellous little collection of stories. Enjoy the Tales of Beedle The Bard.
