Digital Book Displays
Hover over the ‘Book Lists’ tab on this site’s main bar above and a drop-down list of genres appears. Select a genre of interest and this will take you to a digital book display. Click on a book cover to be taken to the ebook or audiobook in Sora.
Finding books by genre in Novelist
Novelist can be a great way to discover books by genres. Examples of a few different genres include fantasy, dystopian, historical and romance. Novelist can help you find books of interest in different genres as well as provide further details to help you find a book that suits your reading style and interests. Novelist describes these extra details as Book Appeal Terms. These appeal terms can include:
- Genre
- Themes
- Character
- Storyline
- Tone
- Pace
- Writing style
If you find a book in the Novelist database that you would like to read, you can look the book up in eLibrary to see if the library has a copy in print format or you could also check OverDrive or CEDP Wheelers for an eBook or audiobook. Don’t forget to download the SORA (OverDrive) App first.
